Mrs. Nelson’s class spent the first month in science learning about how animals use their different body parts and what makes them unique. The students learned that animals use their noses, ears, tails, eyes, mouths and feet in very different ways, and for different reasons.
In the following activity that focused on teeth, students were asked to draw themselves with the animal teeth of their choice. Then, they had the opportunity to write about what kind of teeth they wished they had, why they wanted them, what they would do with them, and what would make them fun.
