Tangent Preschool

Tangent Preschool is committed to providing a culturally affirming, inclusive, and research-based program with you and your children at the center. Tangent Preschool offers free, full-day preschool for 3 and 4-year-old children from income-eligible families and those living in Title I school boundaries, in a variety of classroom settings. A quality preschool experience makes a major difference in a child’s successful preparation for kindergarten.
At Tangent Preschool, parents may apply in two different ways.
- Preschool Promise - an income-based selection process completed by the Early Learning Hub at Linn-Benton Community College.
- Title I - any student living within the boundaries of a Title I school are eligible to apply. Title I schools: Central/Takena, Lafayette, Oak, Periwinkle, South Shore, Sunrise, Tangent, and Waverly Schools.
All students, no matter their enrollment process, learn and succeed in the same classroom with the same highly qualified staff.
